PSHE
How PSHE supports our school’s vision:
Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) education at Great Preston allows pupils to develop the knowledge, skills and attributes they need to manage their lives; now and in the future, developing their individualised aspirations. Tailored to the needs of our pupils, our PSHE curriculum will equip pupils with a sound understanding of risk and with the knowledge and skills necessary to make safe and informed decisions. PSHE enables our children to become respectful, healthy, independent and responsible citizens with a strong moral compass through an understanding of how they are developing physically, socially and emotionally.
PSHE Whole School Overviews
Our PSHE curriculum is developed to meet the requirements set out in the statutory RSE and Health guidance 2020. We follow the You, Me, PSHE scheme and also link in our MindMate lessons. PSHE is currently one of our subjects under development.
